Purchase Process

Once you have seen a Ravenkeeper dog you would like to know more about, we would encourage you to email us providing your personal details and the best way we can get in touch. We encourage prospective clients and their families to visit the kennel site to meet the dogs and trainers to see how we work and if the dog is a good match.

Once you feel happy to proceed with the purchase of a Ravenkeeper dog, we will send you details out of our contract and the proposed timescales of the dogs bespoke training. We will match the dog to the most suited trainer based on your requirements, and the trainer will keep in regular contact with you. This includes photos and videos of how the training is going and updates on the dogs welfare. This also gives you a point of contact should you have any questions throughout the process.

Once training is completed, we invite you to the kennels to have a comprehensive handover of the dogs training. This will involve a one to one with the trainer and is not time limited to ensure you are comfortable with all aspects of the training and commands of your Ravenkeeper dog. You will be provided with a detailed aftercare package, which will include a comprehensive written guidance on training, the health history and background of your Ravenkeeper dog.

In light of Covid 19, we are currently unable to accommodate visitors to the kennels for viewings and handovers. As such, we are providing video call viewings to prospective clients for them to meet the dog. For handovers, we are abiding by Tier restrictions depending on the area the client lives. This inevitably means we now need to charge a delivery fee in order to deliver the dog to their new home. Further details on this charge are available in our contract and can be discussed further requirements depending. We have also temporarily ceased to offer neutering for a dog. This is to protect our staff from unnecessary contact and travel.

We are also remaining paper free where possible, so we have temporarily suspended the paper form of the aftercare package. We will now be sending all information out via email, with the exception of the dogs papers.

We apologise for these changes, and will keep clients updated at all stages as and when government guidance changes.
